Is the laser safe for the driver and people nearby?
The laser only fires inside a light-sealed hood with a rubber skirt that follows the ground. The safety interlocks are hardwired and work independently of the software. Ecoray is being CE-marked under the EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230.
Which crops can Ecoray weed?
Ecoray is built for carrots, onions, beets and Nordmann fir. If you grow something else, tell us when you reserve and we'll tell you how well it fits.
How big can the weeds be?
Ecoray removes weeds at the seedling stage, from about 5 to 25 mm. That is when they are easiest to kill and before they compete with your crop, so plan the first pass early.
How much can it weed per hour?
About 0.4 hectares an hour with two modules and about 1 hectare an hour with five. The driving speed is 1–3 km/h, depending on how many weeds there are.
Does it replace hoeing between the rows?
No. Ecoray works in the row, between the crop plants, where hoeing can't reach. Keep your inter-row cultivation as it is.
Which tractor do I need?
Ecoray is three-point mounted and each module runs on its own gauge wheels, so it fits the tractor you already have. Tell us your tractor model when you reserve and we'll confirm the fit.
What does it cost?
The price depends on how many modules you need. Reserving is free and non-binding, and we send you a quote for your farm.
When can I get one?
First deliveries are planned for April 2027. Reserve now to be among the first.
